This is something that happened in 2005 when I was playing basketball at the gym nearby with some local students and a couple American friends of ours. While playing, Kristy, a tall American girl while being tackled by one of the guys suddenly fell and gasped out in pain. We helped her to a bench and she began clutching her ankle in excruciating pain. We asked if she thought she twisted or [More...]

On the afternoon that we went personal witnessing, Pedro (18 yrs old, a new arrival missionary from the States), Kasia (12yrs) and I, met two girls who spoke fluent English. Their eyes sparkled as they told us that they’re saved because they have Jesus in their hearts and that they both want to become missionaries. I pulled out my guitar and sung them a song, but by the time I’d finished, my fingers were just about numb in the -0 Celsius temperature. They asked me to sing another one, so I figured since my fingers were already numb, it couldn’t hurt, so I sung another. [More...]
