Here's an interesting verse I read today: Jam.2:26 -- For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. This is quite a challenging verse when you think about it. Just as our body won't be operating without our spirit, when we claim to have faith but don't do anything to back it up - we really don't have faith as we've made it of no effect though our complacency. Just like we need to eat 3 meals a day for our physical bodies to operate and without it we'll grow weak and eventually fade away, our spirit is much the same. An interesting question to ask one's self is "What do I feed my spirit each day?" [More...]
